I think they still have to post a few wins in the Big Twelve tournament to have a shot of getting in the tournament. But they shouldn't have a problem now that they get a bye for winning this game.

Actually, that game was much more exciting than the likes of the Rockets game tonight. Not because Houston lost, but because of the arena packed full of screaming fans. I don't follow college hoops, but big name schools really make the games exciting. The Fans are nuts. After watching the Duke game and UT TAMU game, and switching to the Rockets, it seemed like I was watching a practice. So quiet and boring atmosphere.
And Rich Lord eats crow yet again. (not that I care for either team, but you can only hear Rich saying "NO WAY, NO WAY, NO WAY, NO WAY" every day for the past 4-5 shows whenever Marc brought up the fact that "if" the aggies win... "NO WAY" before Marc could even finish his thought.
Went to the game. Drove from Round Rock to CS and back to RR in same day. Got home at 1am. Good stuff.
and this is why UT will do nothing in the tournament. horribly inconsisent and subject to let downs like this. i didn't get to watch the game but i heard it was very physical. i guess that would be indicated by the score and the percentages.
amen. i wasn't always this way...but at this point i FAR prefer college hoops to pro hoops. i simply can't watch an NBA game unless the Rockets are playing, giving me a rooting interest.
Great win for my Aggies. The basketball program has really come a long way in the last couple of years
