The 10th pick won't be wasted because we have a lot of youth. They may sit at RGV and they may not.

It is likely that every young player we have gets better. Some marginally and some will make huge strides. Yes, this even applies to Jalen Green. Do I want Green or FVV as our #1 perimeter option for the 2026 playoffs, absolutely not. Could they be more efficient in different roles? Yes. Could they be more efficient in the same roles? Maybe. I don't see Brooks, Green, Sengun, FVV or Adams backsliding a ton. That addresses all of the GRIZZLED veterans (lol).

Reed, Amen, Smith, Cam and Tari all should be better. Probably a good bit so. Our style may lend itself more to the regular season. I have a tough time seeing us play as tough as an opponent in the first round next year. And everyone has extra experience under their belt.

All is not lost if we don't get Durant and all is not lost if we don't make a deal over the next 3-4 months. Our picks in 2027 and 2029 represent huge value. We are well positioned. I'd really like to go into 2026 with a change in the backcourt but our evolution may be a longer process than that.

Some people are just re-stating the same negative view over and over. I don't get it. If you love and want KD, maybe let's just bring Harden back?

We should remain a very good team next year. We aren't topped out!
