Cavs had a seriously good team in the late 80s/early 90s that just couldn't avoid the Bulls. They were a top team the last 3 years.

The Texans are setting an unbreakable record for futility in reaching the playoffs as an expansion team.

Congrats, you just reminded everyone we suck worse than freaking Cleveland.

Houston as a sports city is turning into Washington DC.

If we were the NFL's Cavs, our team would have been playing in the Super Bowl of late. We would have finished with the best record in the league 2 seasons in a row.

Our NFL team can't even make the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl. Their defense is among the worst ever. And instead of being pissed off about the state of things, our owner thinks all of this is, "progress."

say what?? i think tinman's head just exploded.

Cleveland is definitely a town where it is worse to be a sports fan. That's not saying a whole lot, but it's something.

I was under the assumption that this was a texans vs cavs fan thread

if that is the case, the cavs have had quite a bit more success than the texans

The Saints went 21 years before making their first playoffs.

EDIT: In the 20 years before making the playoffs, the Saints never had a winning record.

No doubt! I don't mind avatars, and sigs, as long as they are kept to certain specifications. That joint just looks messed up!

So we're really, really, really bad and we're doing nothing to change it.

BUT WE'RE NOT AS BAD AS THE CAVS ARE THIS SEASON.

Gee, I feel so much better. Does anyone have the # to the season ticket office?

    Go Texans.

I see you whining and crying but it tells me you care. . .Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Last year we were moments from getting in...Truth be told Kubiak made wonders with the O-line, RB, and QB production. If the defense performed as well, we wouldn't have this discussion. I am not excusing Kubiak, as HC, he owns the D as well...But noobs that are friends are still noobs...Hire someone who isn't a friend, who thinks he can do better, and has been there before...The Texans never tried that before. Let's do that at the minimum...the max being cowher, but yea that's going to happen...It has bothered me though about the draft choices, but then again, lots of teams thought Leinart was that guy, now we know..Every team makes draft choices and wants do-overs after the fact...but yes, we got to do better...

However, I love this team still. Go Texans! (and get it done soon!)
