I'm having a hard time deciding between the PS2, XBOX, or GameCube.

I like sports games the most, and the thought of being able to recruit highschoolers in NCAA 2002, then drafting them in Madden is making me drool.

Anybody have any info, suggestions...? Thanks.

PS2 has the best baskeball game ever in NBA Street. 3 on 3 trash talking, high flying fun!

Gamecube is gonna come out with it too I think. PS2, Gamecube and Xbox all have third parties making games for them. So I think basically all title will be available for all three systems. But Nintendo usually has some stuff that is only copyrited for them only. Plus Gamecube is going to be cheaper then the Xbox.

I've never found Nintendo to be great with sports games. I've felt that way since the days of the Genesis. A friend of mine has a PS2; I've played Madden 2001 on that and it was great. NBA Street is another solid sports game to play with friends.

That said, I don't know what to expect from XBOX as far as sports games go. But I would think it to follow the path PC games do; and there are some very good PC sports games.

In any case, I'm still probably going to buy the Gamecube. :D It's cheaper, and there are already plenty of games I know I'd like to play. I always have my PC for sports stuff.

Will there even be any XBOX's available for those of us not willing to stand in line?
