A little disappointed in the crowd...

The Houston Rockets have been trying to get everyone to wear red during the playoff run to the finals. Well I turn on the tv last night and granted I couldnt see the top deck, but I saw plenty of people on the 1st level not wearing red. I mean ****, how hard is it to go buy a Rockets t-shirt? Am I surprised by this? NO, that is typical of Houston sports fans. People dont want to wear a red shirt when asked to do so....People leave the Astros game in the 7th inning when we have the lead...PEOPLE DONT CHEER FOR THE TEAM UNTIL THEY MAKE THE PLAYOFFS THEN THEY JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON (stros world series run)!!!!

I'll be at game 2 tomorrow night...section 403 row 2, and I hope that there is a lot more red then last night. Spread the word people....If you know someone thats going tell them to wear a red t-shirt. Lets get the Toyota Center rockin!!!

they were loud man. great crowd.

but yea, not everyone was in red like toronto was. that would look NICE.

w/ waving towels too. they should do that.

but noise-wise, crowd was on point

We won't be as red as toronto's crowd. They had they're shirts provided it looked like. Cause everyone was wearing the same shirt.

Imma be wearing my red to the game tomorrow!

Oh I know it was loud, but that wasnt my point. You bring up another point though...why cant it be that loud all the time? It is in Dallas and SA and Phoenix. IMO its because Houston has a ton of fair-weather fans

Is www.nbastore.com the right place to buy Rockets jerseys? I have only Shane's jersey and I am planing to get jerseys of TMAC and Yao. Next time when Rockets come to DC, I will be in red.

Maybe I also need a helmet when I sit among Wizards fans.......just kidding

It's simple. Houston likes teams that win. Rockets haven't done JACK in the last decade. People are more excited about the Astros in this town.

Once the Rockets start to show they belong with the big boys, which imo they do....Houston "fans" will come out in full force.

Besides there were some empty seats on the courtside around 5-10 row up, and those are great seats. I can't believe it.

Kinda hard to get everyone in red unless you provide shirts. A lot of people (especially girls) were dressed up nice like they were going out after, not suprising as it was a Saturday night.

But it sounded like a good crowd and that's all that matters.

I agree with you, Houston does have some fair weathered fans, but these fans certainly know when to get loud!

actually, the crowd was quite red and it was rowdy. so you see a few non-red shirts. it's just gonna stand out more amongst the sea of red. besides, you do realize there are black and white and pink rockets apparel right?

The organization wants the entire TC to be red. Is that hard to do? Can people not drive to Academy and buy a $15 t-shirt? Loud AND Red is better then just loud...

Those red towels were just stupid. Anyone there ever hear of color contrast? Red towels and red shirts don't really do much. Should've had white towels out there.

have you seen the t-shirts at academy? they are utterly crap, from the quality to the selection. i also went to sports authority, foot locker, and champs. not much there either besides overpriced jerseys.
