Hey, wait a minute...I thought they were going to really crack down on carrying the ball this season... Our first nine games, they did a fine job of calling it all over the place. But did anyone else notice that against the Hornets, they rarely called it at all? (Except for the ridiculously obvious carry by Taylor) And while the Hornets got away with a few carries, we carried the ball A HELL OF A LOT. I don't understand why the league is trying to cut down on the carries. A lot of the "highlight plays" involved carrying the ball last year, and for several years before that...I think that constantly calling it slows down the game a bit. Not that it makes carrying the ball okay, but I don't understand the league's motivation. Regardless of why, they need to be a little more consistent about calling it, IMHO... Oh, and on a completely unrelated subject...When will they start cracking down on freaking lane violations? That is the most broken rule in the NBA!!! Everybody is already in the lane by the time the shooter releases the ball!! Just my random observations... ------------------ Jazzkiller
