Antawn Jamison, when asked about the Warriors newfound success, stated that it is due to a more team effort, better ball movement, and nobody worrying about individual stats.

Hopefully the ROX can follow the same trail, before they are actually FOLLOWING in the win column.

    Tech,

Everyone seems to "GET IT" this except our guards.

Even the Dallas Morning News this morning said Rox need to move Francis from point guard in order to win big time:eek:

    D R

BTW, the way Golden State is playing they may may pass us up if we don't turn this ship around and share the ball.

I watched the first two quarters of the game. It was like WoW! The Warriors are playing a beautiful offense, just like Kings, Mavs, and Jazz. Lots of motion, everybody get involved, nono of our ISO dribble crap. They got lots of talents in the team as well, very young and athletic. They seem to have found their chemistry as well.

With the way Rockets are playing right now, it may only take four games for the Warriors to catchup up the Rockets...

I hate the ISO crap also. It sucks. Francis, since he has come to the Rockets, has done this ISO crap. When it went into Hakeem, he made things happen. Francis, he isn't a center on the blocks who can attract doubles. Instead, he's bouncing back and forth on top of the key, not attracting anyone, and letting the defense sit in their zone waiting for him to drive down the middle while everyone is just sitting there WATCHING HIM! I'm glad GS is finally getting out of their rut and playing as a TEAM! FRANCIS, learn from the Warriors, Mavs, and Kings. TEAMWORK!

Are you absolutely f-ing kidding me!!!!

You can say what you want about Francis' smarts or decision making, but listen to yourself- you're blaming Steve for his teammates standing around watching him. Its not Steve fault they stand around like lead weights, instead of finding open spots.

If you watched today's game, Steve had some great passes to set up his teammates. Alley-oops, open jumpers, Yao down low. Granted, he had a couple bad plays as well, but that happens to everyone. Do you guys even watch Jason Kidd or Andre Miller play, or just their highlights on Sportscenter- when a team's point guard is depended upon to create as much as Steve is, he's going to have his fair share of turnovers- you people have to accept it.

TODAY'S GAME WAS GREAT. IT WAS JUST FABULOUS. STEVE DID IT ALL. JUST HIS TEAMMATES DIDN'T MAKE THEIR SHOTS AND SOME OF HIS LAYUPS DIDN'T QUITE GO IN. I THOUGHT HE DID PRETTY GOOD. HE WAS VERY GOOD TODAY...just 2 points short. He missed those two free throws...:(

Anyways, he does draw double teams. And learn from the Mavs? The Mavs pretty much do the same thing. They let Steve Nash run around until he finds somebody open. He is good at it though. :)

I would tell the Rockets to study tapes of the Kings and Nets. I wouldn't want them to copy their style. The Rockets have their own unique style but they need to upgrade it. They could use plays from the Lakers, too.

Agreed- Stve did play smart today and did have a solid game- he was chassing long boards, active on defense, gave his teammates ample opportunities for baskets, but they just couldn't hit today- Posey and Eddie both missed a lot of WIDE OPEN jumpers. Steve had a rough night at the rim too. They just were not falling for him- just one of those night I guess, but he was able to attack and get to the rim. Must have been frustrating for him.

Are you on crack? The PF's shot pretty much the same percentage as Steve, TMo missed one 3-pt shot. EVERYONE ELSE ON THE TEAM SHOT BETTER THAN STEVE!!!!! On like 5 different threads I've seen you say everyone else missed their shots, but Steve was the worst because he was missing but kept shooting. That's what everyone's problem is. I don't care if Steve goes 0-10 on a night, but when that happens he has to realize it and pass the ball to guys on their game. Not shoot 5 more times than twice anyone else. Such a frustrating game.

    ACTUALLY GOOFY,

Eddie Griffin shot better than 50%.
Mo Taylor was terrible. I'm not talking about him.
James Posey also shot better than 50%.

But DOWN THE STRETCH, during the last TWO MINUTES, they missed the important shots. Eddie Griffin, James Posey...they all missed!

    The Bulls got lucky too...

Could you take a look at the numbers before you post?
Steve, as a PG, shot 26 times, having the lowest percentage made. Nobody else shot more than 11 times.

Steve might think he is a Jordan or Iverson. But both Jordan and Iverson are shooting guards.

What's the point of having two all stars if you can't even make the playoffs? Franics had a typical bad game as a PG. 26 shot attempts and 7 turnovers.

I totally agree. I don't mind a player have a off-night. Hey, it happens to everybody. But you need to know this isn't your day, you need to get somebody involved. Do you dragged the whole team to have a off-night. period. But in this game and several other games, he doesn't do that. This is not a question of IQ, this is a question of common sense.
