CP3 is more syllables than Chris Paul. This bugs me.

One of my personal favorites, Daryle Ward.

Also today's winning pitcher Collin McHugh.

I find it confusing that Daryl Ward would be any Astros fan's personal favorite.

First, I said "one of my personal favorites". He's probably Top 10 or 15 for me.

Second, he is up there because he would hit grand slams in rivers ^^see above video^^ AND I had All-Star Baseball 2000 on Game Boy Color, where I would always hit home runs with Daryle Ward and Shane Reynolds of all people.

Classic. Heard his name many times through the years, but never explored his stats. His 5 GG's is the franchise record? Biggio had 4. Bagwell got cheated. Morgan didn't win any until CIN.

Cedeno hit perhaps the shortest grand slam ever. Essentially hit a blooper about 150 feet that bounced off the turf and over the outfielder's head,

And, he shot and killed his girlfriend.

I understand that losses affect the magic number. If we consider the number from an Astros only perspective, though, I don't think the Astros need to go 28-2 over the 30 games remaining to clinch the division.

That's because there are 7 head-to-head match-ups with the Rangers left.

It seems that if the Astros get to 99 wins, there's no way for the Rangers to have more wins than that. The most they could have would be 97.

So, if the Astros go 26-4 in the remaining 30, they would win the division.

Wouldn't that make the magic number 26 at this moment?

If the Astros go 13-17, the Rangers go 19-13, that hits the magic # of 26, but the Rangers win the division. So no. But I see your point...there is a way that it *could* be lower if we already knew the outcome of the H2H games. Since we don't, we can only create an overall # based on overall outcomes
