True if you look at the entire season, but if you look at non season ending injuries, Lowry and Ariza are key.

apparently it's not obvious to people who wonder why Aaron Brooks is jacking up so many shots or that or defense has been woeful or why Aaron Brooks is playing so many minutes.

Who's Brooks backup? A dude we just called up from the D league?

Ariza, yeah he got bashed this season, but we all see his importance now.

Now that we have Martin, having Ariza back would help both of their games.

Even with those guys we were still 10th in the west struggling to win games, the problem is our interior defense and rebounding lowry and ariza won't solve that problem.

    Brooks played 44 minutes
    Shane played 40 minutes
    Scola played 40 minutes
Martin (who just joined the team and recovering) playing 39 minutes

    This is pretty unbalanced minutes

Will Conroy played only 4 minutes, he didn't get that magic 7 minutes to justify his salary

Look, I know we'll have trouble with teams with bigs, that's obvious

Sacremento's backup SG/SF both played over 20 minutes each

Buddinger couldn't even get 20 minutes

I hate what ifs, but I would put money that we beat the Kings with Lowry/Ariza.
I'd bet the over and I bet the spread.

healthy team better is a team?yeah why not?And thats a blessing we need.

plus RA needs to revert back to his coaching style like playing MARTIN 7mins every game for only the 1st qtr.. maybe then we'd be winning more consistently.

    im just playin y'all

I'm sorry - but we should be able to beat the kings without lowry and ariza.

We're talking about the Kings! They only player that should worry us is the one who was in a Rockets uniform a few weeks back, and I"m not talking about Dorsey.

And I would be betting right along with you tinman cause you are correct.

Some people just don't understand. They are so quick to throw the team under the bus after any loss. For whatever reason they have set their expectations for this group SOOO high. Maybe it was the early wins back in November, they immediately pegged the team for a top 4 or 5 in the west. Now that we lose some games, they come out with all the hate and knee jerk reactions. They don't take time to look at all the factors involved. they just see us playing Sac and assume its should be a easy win. No game is a easy win for this team, especially without Lowry and Ariza in the rotation.

We will see what they are saying in about a week when both players are back and we beat the Celts or Lakers or one of the teams we are chasing. Back on the bandwagon im figuring...

Tinman has started a thread without taking a jab at T-mac. Today must be February 30th. :)

Hmmm? How do you figure that? We have Hayes and Battier in the line up and they might attempt 8 shots a game (combined). Brooks and Martin have to play almost 40 mins in every game Ariza and Lowry have been out. We really miss Lowry's production off the bench. Kings have players on their team besides Landry, they are not the nets or wolves.

When you beat Toronto by 30 points one night without those guys how can you come back and say you lose to a WORSE team the next night because you were without those guys?

It's a poor excuse. Sacramento is a lotto team, there's never a reason to lose to them.
