I just got a call from one of the guys I have worked with for the last few years, and he gave me some really bad news. One of the best guys I have ever worked with, and a guy I hoped to work with again in the future just had an annueryism in the brain yesterday. He is about 52 years old, and is on life support and essentially brain dead. This guy was one of the people in the office that just got stuff done, and with a smile. He could solve any problem and knew more about obscure stuff than anyone I have ever met. The worst part of the story is that today is his 8 year old daughter's birthday, and she is having a sleepover. Her mom did not want to tell her the severity of her father's condition and is having the party anyway (TALK ABOUT A STRONG WOMAN). They are keeping my pal alive on life support and will pull the plug tomorrow so that he will not die on her birthday. I will miss my friend, and the world is worse off without him. RIP - Dave R. You will be missed and have always been loved. EP
Sad indeed. One of my co-workers had a stroke last week. She's slowly recovering now. She's not able to speak or anything though.
Or doesn't have good ones to begin with. Sorry to hear it, DaDa, all things come to an end. May he rest in peace...
Just lifted a prayer up to the Almighty to be with his family during this tragic time. Sorry about your loss man, I truly am.
My daughter turned 8 just recently... very, very sad - my heart goes out to his family and friends. Will definitely be praying for them.
A nightmare for his family, devastating for his friends, and a good life cut short. Some things are beyond understanding.
