A little LSD here and there is good for you, but I sure as hell wouldn't bake it into my bread. You gotta be high to do a crazy stunt like that. A great moment in LSD history was in 1983, when Kary Mullis under the influence of LSD created the Polymerase Chain Reaction. This subsequently altered the history of genetics and medicine. All thanks to good old LSD.
It might be wrong to think of it this way but isn't closer in novelty to those Hotballa and UFO articles?
What evidence can there be after almost sixty years, that would actually offer anything of value and has not been destroyed ages ago?
That guy is a trip. Dock Ellis is another one who LSD seemed to work well for when he pitched a no-hitter on it.

Totally agree. If these people had known what was about to happen to them, they likely wouldn't have had the same reaction. On the other hand, even though I knew what I was doing, I still had a bad time a couple of those instances.
that must have been some strong stuff! ive felt like my entire body charged w/ electricity and had it all drain out of my fingernails. ive had god reach down from heaven and grab me by the throat and choke me, leaving me in a state of paralysis. ive left my physical body and traveled up inside the glass tentacles of a 200 ft tall ice-blue octopus woman (this was on 5 grams of mushrooms and some chocolate peyote though, so it might not count!). but ive never felt my heart fall out thru my feet or felt like my insides were being eaten by snakes. weirdos! wrt to the baseball player who threw a no-hitter - i totally believe it! i used to skateboard and once we took acid and went out skating all day downtown - i was pulling off tricks that i wouldnt have otherwise even thought of trying like 180 kickflips over stairs - and was landing them!
