http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=231103004# Here was a quote from Steve Francis after the 98-66 win against the Bulls. "They play five-man basketball," Francis said. "They play too much individual ball. I think that helped us a lot by them being selfish and not passing the ball to one another. You are not going to win if guys think about themselves more than the team, and that's what it looked like they were doing out there." Looks like Steve is going in the right direction finally. Lets hope the rest of the team was listening.
Yes, but no offense, Steve needs to just shut up sometimes. The way the Rockets played tonight, it's just not necessary to give an opposing team any bulletin board material. You win, you congratulate your teammates and the performance, and you just SHUT THE HE** UP about the other team. Period.
Rockets-#1: What's up your butt? dandorotik: What was that? Rockets-#1: Uhh nothing...reading is, good Francis wasn't talkin s*** about the Bulls, just sayin why he thought we won, lay off.
No, I think we actually have to win by 80-100 points to shut up some of the critics around here; and even then Yao will probably not get enough touches and moochie will have dribbled too much.

Sorry, the pronouns can be confusing. This would be the easy-to-understand version. Steve Francis is my 4th favorite player in the NBA. He does it all, and he gets maligned for a lot of things that are not his fault. The amount of blame he has been given for the team's performance has been downright ludicrous at times, because he has done more for the Rockets than any player over the past 5 years. And, sometimes, Steve needs to let his actions speak for themselves.
If you can't find fault with the game (which of course is impossible on this board, but let's assume it isn't for the sake of argument), there's always the post-game comments to criticize.
