This is what's currently on NBA.COM:

    1) MoT - 19 pts on 9 of 14 / 9 rebs / 3 assists and 1 block

    2) Shandon - 9 pts (3-8) / 3 rebs / 4 assists and SOLID D

    3) Dream 16 pts / 7 rebs / 1 block

    4) Cato - 4 rebs and 2 assists in 10 minutes

    5) Rocks outrebounded LA 49-45

But 21 TO's for 20 points and the late 4thQ execution - Ouch!!!

I'm really surprised that Shandon did all that in the piss poor time he got. Plus the Rockets out rebound the Lakers is a definite sign of improvement. Mo is really doin good.

    ------------------
Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!

Actually, MoTay had 10 rebounds from what I've seen on the highlight shows. 1 rebound dont make too much of a difference, but in this case it does. He had a double double!

    Another positive...

    Walt was hitting his shots.

Who the heck cares...about positives...we lost the game.

Wins and losses, that is all that matters. We lost another VERY winnable game tonight. Too many, too often.

I agree with you, to me positives are nothing! just a way to convince yourself losing a game is OK.

Negativity is something I expect from CompaqC, but I'm a little surprised at DaDakota.

    Here are the undeniable facts:

    1) This is basically the exact same team plus Mo as last season which had a 34-48 record (8-17 for the first 25). We have swapped Mo for Sir Charles and added Collier and Langhi.

    2) The Western Conference has loaded up even more this season (Ewing, Kemp, Davis, Hughes, Fortson, Marc Jackson, Q, Miles, Stromile, DA to the Spurs, etc, etc...)

    3) The Faker$ are the defending World Champs with 2 (TWO!) locks for starting All Stars.

    4) The Rockets went from a postup, inside out game played by Clyde, Dream and Charles to a high energy guard-oriented team. The basis of the transition has only been in effect for ONE SEASON.

    5) 16 of the Rockets first 25 games have been played against PLAYOFF caliber teams.

Was the game winnable? Certainly. I am disappointed in the outcome? Absolutely. Do the Rockets have better days ahead? Bet on it!

No one ever said losing was OK, but it's certainly not as black and white as you two are making it. There are such things as good losses. That was the Lakers not the Clippers. And Kobe was unconscious.

The team is growing for sure, but it could be growing at a faster pace if they had some veteran leadership on the team.

I love the Dream, but if I had my choice, I would have rather had Barkley on this team, as he is more of a vocal leader, and that is EXACTLY what the team needs.

As for my negativity, it could have been the Margaritas from our company Christmas party talking.

I think that its bad that we lost the game, but its good that we can at least hang with the top teams. I agree with dada, dream is the best player in the history of our franchise but is not a leader. I wwant chuck back(we know this isnt happening it would take a year to drop all that weight!)
