This is all BS about TMACs body being done. Iverson has been in the league 1 year longer and AI actually played a TON his rookie year so he has taken a beating for 2 more seasons. AI is also much smaller and more physical than Tracy yet played many more games with pain so he has a bigger heart. Lets look at some of the best wings of the past decade...

Tracy has only played 784 Career Games + 38 Playoff Games and 35 Min/GM

AI has played 877 Career Games + 71 Playoff Games and 41.6 Min/GM

Kobe has played 916 Career Games + 152 Playoff Games and 36.5 MIN/GM

TMAC = 822 Total Games and 28,770 Total Minutes

AI = 948 Total Games and 39,436 Total Minutes

Kobe = 1068 Total Games and 38,982 Total Minutes

In a nutshell TMAC may have been in the league for a long time but his body has taken 50% less of a pounding than AI or Kobe. The thing with Tmac is no motivation anymore. You're gonna get $200K a night whether you get mauled by Matt Harpring or not, so why play the game. Kobe and AI wanna win, TMAC says he does but I just don't see it. I don't wanna hear about how aged he is because his career minutes state otherwise

Some people's bodies just hold up differently. Everyone is different and can't be handled the same

I don't think TMac is done.

I also don't like how he NEVER plays any defense. He sets the tone with his lackluster defensive effort.

He deserves to be ripped for that.

T-mac's body might be more vulnerable then Kobe's and Ai's. Not everyone's body is built the same.

Epic fail. Numbers are meaningless without context.

Context in this case being T-Mac's medical history versus the others.

ok but kobe has played 3 more seasons in total games and almost 5 times as many playoff games which we all know include harder fouls yet he is still on top of his game, flat out TMAC is a wimp Im sorry.

Not only that... Kobe, and especially AI, both go to the hole way more than Tracy does, and take much more physical punishment.

AI is only 165lbs and gets knocked down by 7 footers more often than any other player, yet he still averages 40mins a game, and hardly ever misses a game.

I agree I don't think anyone goes to the hole more than AI but maybe Manu and AI does not weigh 200 lbs like Tracy but he gets up like a man and shakes it off and does what he's paid. I remember and injury poster in ESPN the mag many years ago detailing all the injuries he palyed with does anyone still have a scan of that?

Kobe has also had help and hasn't had to carry the entire load... That also makes a big difference..

You are trying to compare apple and oranges...

thats most retarted thread ever of all the tmac bashing garbage thats been on here

are u insinuating that all human beings on earth have the same exact body build and same exact medical history and same exact genes and same exact tolerance of pain and same exact durability?

thats just r****ded! mcgrady has a volunerable body and he cant take the beating like the other guys. look at b diddy, no one doubts he is a tough guy but his body has not held up well over time

not everyones body responds the same

What about AI then? Iverson had even less help than TMAC, played more MPG in more games, is older, and is still a productive player.

you're absolutely right TMAC has not had Yao for the past 5 seasons, that isn't help at all. Who has Kobe had for the last few years until Pau came around last year?

I would believe this except for the fact that Tracy has had his heart, determination, and drive questioned on every team he's been on.

Looking at him sit up it looks obvious he has Scoliosis. One shoulder is higher than the other.

I have Scoliosis and that was the case for me.

lebron, kobe, and AI are like iron men. tmac on the other hand is made out of glass. his body just couldn't endure the punishment of an nba career. i feel really bad for tmac because he was on his way to become one of the best SG to play the game. tmac back in 02-05 was a top 3 player in the league. right now you can make a case that tmac is top 5 worst starter in the league......

AI had tons of help when he went to the finals. I remember a starting lineup of

    eric snow
    AI
    Aaron Mckie
    Tyrone Hill
    Dikembe

That's so much offense AI probably got to take nights off

But about the thread, you can't compare him to another player, his body is different. He has had different injuries and issues with his body.

I guess Jonathan Bender can come back too since he has played less game.
