The Rockets are 3-2 so far this December. A quirk in the schedule has them playing 13 games - all against the western conference. Compare that to January which sees them playing 8 games against the east.

Here are the games remaining and my predictions:

    GSW - W
    DEN - W
    SAS - L
    LAL - L
    GSW - W
    SAS - L
    SEA - W
    DAL - L

That gives them a 7-6 record for December. They should be 16-13 by the end of 2000. 3 games over 500 would be nice.

I can even see them taking one of the games from the Spurs or perhaps the Lakers or Dallas for a 17-12 record, 5 over 500.

Five games over 500 would be a December to remember. January is looking better, though, with 8 games against the east.

    TB-Cain,

If we can ride in to the games at home against SA & LA with a 4 game winning streak our place should be rockin'. I, very much, want to see the Rocks take care of GS $ Denver to make next weeks big showdown even bigger. It's much funner winning isn't it?

Here are my optimistic predicitions(that can happen if we play well)

    GSW - W
    DEN - W
    SAS - L
    LAL - W
    GSW - W
    SAS - W
    SEA - W
    DAL - W

And here are my predicitions if were just playing ".500 Ball"

    GSW - W
    DEN - W
    SAS - L
LAL - W(we lost our last one here were back for revenge GRRRR)
    GSW - W
SAS - L( just cant tackle those twin towers
    SEA - W
DAL - L/W(couldn't decide because i truly believe we are the better team but they are good also and since we took the last one barely look for them to come out of the gates quickly.

If we have Kelvin back we have a better chance against the spurs. (IMO, Kato has the same mix of speed and power as Duncan)

    SAS -w
    LAL -l
    GSW -w
    SAS -l

I agree with DEANB, I think we've got the wood on the Lakers and at home we're specials to beat them! The Spurs have our number and I don't think we're any chance in the world to beat them either time, and I think that we lose to either the Mavs or the Sonics, there's always that one bad game isn't there??
