On draft day trade the rights to the #8 to orlando for the #11 and stevenson...Next trade Stromile Swift and Bob Sura to Milwaukee for the rights to Jamaal Maglorie. Draft Ronnie Brewer/JJ Redick with the #11 and sign Mike James with the MLE...

    Ming/Mutombo/Lampe
    Maglorie/Howard/Hayes
    Mcgrady/Bowen/Bogans
    Brewer #8/Stevenson/Head
    James/Alston/Darius Washington #32

This Roster will give us the Fire power... defense... height...athleticism...and versatility.. to compete with the leagues finest

Magloire is exactly the opposite of what JVG wants at the 4 :D

He will be horrible for spacing on the blocks, because he cannot shoot

    like everyone else says....

no to magliore, however you spell his name.

a championship offseason is one that includes us finding a starting calibur SG, PF, and backup PG...while keeping at least 3 or 4 role players on the bench.

Stevenson is not good enough to be on a Championship Contender

The Rockets need to find the next Mario, not a big name when they traded for him, but he did alot for the back to back championships.

How about Jermaine O'Neal + the Pacers pick (17) for T-Mac and your #1 pick?

You get a top 15 player who when healthy was an MVP candidate, and the Pacers take on the risk of T-Mac's back ending his NBA career too soon.

lol no way, take a risk on T-Mac? We're taking an even BIGGER risk on Jermaine O'Neal.

Tinsley? This guy hasn't been on the court since 2004 rofl
Jackson? This guy is a headcase

PJ Tucker will be available in the 2nd round and I think he fits the Mario Ellie mold perfect.

Not a great outside shooter but can hit the big shot and has done so many times.

Groin pulls and strained shoulders heal. Bad backs do not.

I think we should draft Brewer but not trade our pick, beacuse Brewer's stock is going up and he might not even be available at 11. I think we should use maybe 1 million on Jay Williams and maybe another 1 million on Lindsey Hunter if they both will accept that. Then use the rest of the MLE on which should be about 3.4 million to get Vlad. I'm not really sure if they will accept but it seems possible, because Jay Williams is a risk and he shouldn't be too expensive, Lindsey Hunter dosen't get payed much anyways and he's pretty old so 1 million seems like enough. 3.4 million is a little bit more than what Vlad earned last year.
Then try to trade Swift or Howard for someone decent like maybe Posey?
But I'm not really sure if this can happen.
