Green set an NBA record by playing in 1,192 consecutive games, a run that ended at the start of this season when no team offered him a contract. That's Green's second most impressive ironman streak. During his 16-year NBA career, Green openly discussed his belief in abstinence from sex before marriage. Now comes word that Green, 38, is engaged to be married. His Phoenix-based A.C. Green Foundation sent out a news release to announce the engagement but did not identify his fiancée. "I have waited awhile for marriage, but my beautiful fiancée has definitely been a godsend," Green said in the release. "I can't wait to get some of that good loving I've been waiting for all these years." The release says Green has a Hyundai dealership and was recently hired as vice president of basketball operations by the ABA's Southern California Surf.
When he really does get some, it's gonna be like that scene in Scary Movie where that guy plasters the girl to the ceiling...
