go to Lordoftherings.net and you can view the new The Two Towers trailer!! Watch for Gandalf and the Balrog, Wargs, and Treebeard running and picking up Merry and Pippin. I declare now that this will be the coolest movie of 2002!!!!
HOLY ****ING ****! I actually watched it. I told myself I wouldn't, but I had to. Thats it. I won't watch any more trailers. No more! This movie looks like the coolest thing of all time. That part when Aragorn busts open the door at the end... that guy is a badass. BTW - Doesn't the music sort of remind you of the music from Requiem of a Dream? Near the end sort of?
Oh god...I just crapped my pants. There is no longer any doubt in my mind that this is going to be the greatest movie of all time!!!!! YAYA JSIHJA OIKJD Yeah, I noticed that too. It is in fact the same song. I wonder if they are going to use that in the movie, or if they just liked it for the trailer.
I'm not the biggest fan of the first one, even though I'm going to give it another chance. That being said, this movie looks amazing!
When I saw the title, I thought it was a new T3 trailer, I was dumping bricks! I will have to check this out, the last trailers looked great. Thanks.
Uh... no. Haha. Sorry. It isnt. No matter what, no way no how. Return of the King will be better than the first two raised to the power of 9 trillion combined with every other movie ever made. Haha. Just so you know, I didn't even enjoy the first two books. But the last book...
About the "Requiem for a Dream" music... I don't think they'll actually use it for the movie. When they were advertising for "Sleepy Hollow" they used music from "Batman," both Tim Burton films, but that music never made it into the movie. Same thing here. It does fit very well for this trailer, though, doesn't it?
Slightly better version The non-AOL version (same trailer, except much better quality) is released today or tomorrow. The music is from Requiem of a Dream.
Get Smart, Much better quality, now if someone would only create a DivX version, then we would see what it looks like in Theatres. DaDakota
This is going to end up being the greatest trio of movies in movie history, in my most humble and Tolkien-worshipping opinion. I've read the books more often than I can remember, seen the mis-guided animation, and approached "Fellowship" with the idea that it would be half as good as my expectations. What a mind-blower!! I walked out of the theatre with a glowing astonishment at what Jackson achieved that still lingers. I'm waiting for the expanded disc set in November before I buy it... and I keep renting the flick. I should have just bought both. My mind keeps returning to a thought. Make "The Hobbit", Jackson. Make The Hobbit while you still have your Gandalf and the Shire. A quartet instead of a trio. That would make the epic complete.
I did buy the first edition DVD, and I will buy the expanded one. This movie is gonna kickass!! My wife is not a fantasy fan, and had never read the books, but she even loved the first one. She was po'ed that it ended when it did. I will be in line on Dec 18th for The Two Towers. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. (damn you MacBeth..stole my line) but I stand by it... What a life huh? The two things that I can hardly wait for are the Rockets season opener and TTT opening day..
I saw the trailer this morning and then got to work and shared it with some friends... man, I haven't read the books, but damn, that's gonna be one helluva trilogy! http://www.theonering.net has a frame by frame break down of the trailer!
Theonering.net now has a link to the 'official' trailer. Full screen, better picture and sound!! It's also downloadable!
