Ok, I know its easier to blame when we lose, but Rudy what the hell were you on tonight?

    1. Ming was playing awesomely on O and effectively on D. Why not let him see the light with some Playing time. Some will say that Ming shouldnt of been in during the stretch run. Does the stretch run include halfway throught the third period and on?

    2. Why on Gods green earth did we take Mo Taylor out halfway though the 4th? He was absolutely killing the Suns on the floor, right when he really heated up, you sat him...just like with Yao.

    3. Did KT really play all but the whole game? You did notice that he did miss 66 percent of his shots right? Griffin was having about as quiet a game as possible, but he deserved the time over Mo T?

    4. Why is it every game we run a fluid offense for the first quarter and a half, but must go to the modified ISO for the rest of the game?

    5. And finally, what is the point of starting Collier. Really.....what purpose does it serve? What point are you making? That Yao doesnt deserve to start for those first 7 minutes, while he gets tourched on the defensive side, and gives nothing on the offensive side?

This in not knee jerk reaction. We should of won this game. Stupid coaching is not giving your team a chance of winning.

    6. Why wasn't HAWKINS on the floor during the last shot by Phoenix?

Coaching was a big reason why the Rockets lost tonight. You stay with the hot hand, Ming was play well, but Rudy dumbass sat him early on in the 3rd Q never getting him back in the game. After that, everything went down hill. Pathetic.

Marbury was being guarded by Francis on the last shot. He is to blame and I bet you he said as much afterwards.

    Rudy bashers suck.

If Cat makes his two free throws then we are talking about Houston going on the road and getting a good win. We would also be talking about the positives of Yao Ming and Mo Taylor.

Two Free throws that Cat almost always makes.

I don't agree with all of Rudy T's substitutions but I don't really think that this loss was his fault.

    Great point DaDakota.

    Let me add number 7

    7. When OH WHEN Rudy will you realize that the small ball lineup you use: Moochie, Francis, Mobes, KT, and EG. SUX. Its never effective. It might be if we ran, pushed the ball, and improved our Transition D, but until then, it just plain ol sux. Average size of our players is about 6'5" when you do this. Did you not notice all the second chance points the Suns were getting when we ran this lineup?

I agree with both of you guys, Ming and Hawkins should have been out there. I know they're rookies, especially Ming, but sometimes you have to depend on rookies. There's no way that Marbury gets that shot off over Ming. Heck he might not even get the shot off if Hawkins is guarding him! Throwing 2 small guys in there to defend the drive to the basket made ZERO sense. What was up with that!? I mean my god it's a one point lead with a few seconds left and you have a 7-6 guy there to defend the lane? And I don't want to hear about defense assignments, I'll tell you defensive assignment, you tell that 7-6 guy to stay right there in the paint and if anybody goes to the line you block shot. That's my defensive assigment on that last play. Instead I don't think we had a guy over 6-9 guarding that play. Our two hottest low post scorers were sitting on the bench half way through the 4th, and the one guy in the post was playing like crap most of the time played. God help me what was I looking at out there!? That didn't make any sense!

a team that doesn't know how to close the deal, for this many years and regardless of the personnel on the floor, after being up all night points back to the coach.

I never thought I would say this, but is Rudy T. just a lucky mook whose luck ran out a long time ago? When do you suppose the rest of the organization will catch on?

Francis would have to have been about 6 inches taller to stop Marbury on that shot, and if he was, he wouldn't have been quick enough to stay with him. That shot is indefensible if done right.

A great point. Rice should be taken out for that play.

Whoa, whoa, WHOA! I'm NOT a Rudy basher, I've constantly defended the guy, and think he is one of the best coaches in the NBA, but everybody makes mistakes and he screwed up tonight. To leave a good perimeter defensive player and post player on the bench when you need a critical stop made NO sense whatsoever.

With Ming starting, at least we should win tip-off.

    We lost because of

    A. stupid turnovers and stupid fouls by Steve Francis Late

    B. Not giving the ball to Cat

    C. Eddie Griffen choking and not taking the shot he had on the second to last possesion.

Oh, and Stephon is a Baaaaaaad man.

If Francis was tall enough to get his hands on that shot, he wouldn't have the quickness to stay with Marbury in the first place.

    Small players = quick.
Tall Players = not so quick.

The Rockets play just wasn't up to full steam tonight. I'll try not to take it too hard.

On the good side, this was loss was different than in recent years. Then it looked like the team didn't know what the right thing to do in the game was and they played like that. Tonight it looked like for the most part they knew what the right thing was, but just were sluggish out there.

Yao, and Mo, looked good tonight. I think the Rockets at least know what the mistakes they made tonight were, and can hopefully correct them.

I agree with you, I dont like this lineup, with this lineup we get out rebounded and killed defensively.

Why the HELL is Kenny playing so long??
Yao or MO Taylor who both were playing very good were benched to

Kenny and Eddie who werent playing good? What Gives?

Rudy doesn't want to take the risk.

He should play Ming and go to him more on offense, play man to man on D, not that zone broke by Marbury. Bring in hawks in the last defensive position.
