after that stretch the rockets will have had 23 road games and only 15 home games.

could our schedule be any freaking harder?

    Wed, Dec 16 @ Denver (18-7) 9:00 pm EST
    Fri, Dec 18 @ Dallas (18-7) 8:30 pm EST
Sat, Dec 19 vs Oklahoma City (12-11) 8:30 pm EST
Tue, Dec 22 vs LA Clippers (10-13) 8:30 pm EST
    Wed, Dec 23 @ Orlando (18-6) 7:00 pm EST
Sat, Dec 26 @ New Jersey (2-23) 7:30 pm EST (they don't really count :))
    Sun, Dec 27 @ Cleveland (18-7)
Tue, Dec 29 vs New Orleans (10-13) 8:30 pm EST
Thu, Dec 31 vs Dallas (18-7) 6:00 pm EST
Sat, Jan 2 @ New Orleans (10-13) 8:00 pm EST
Tue, Jan 5 @ LA Lakers (19-4) 10:30 pm EST
    Wed, Jan 6 @ Phoenix (17-8) 9:00 pm EST
Sat, Jan 9 vs New York (8-16) 8:30 pm EST
    Tue, Jan 12 @ Charlotte (10-13) 7:00 pm EST

The answer is yes, because we have 4 straight back to backs!

now let's break down the road games. i won't even count new jersey as a nba franchise for the combined road records, so if you add up the records of our road opponents (ex nets) during this stretch they are 118-65 or 64.5% win%.

now let's look at their home records (ex nets) :( ... the road opponents are a combined 79-16   or 83.2% win%

and yes i think it is fair to completely ignore the nets in these numbers since they are so horrible and skew the reality of how hard this stretch is.

what say you clutchfans...how many games do we win in the next 14?

Get 6 and I'm fine with it. That really is an ugly stretch.

8 - 6 isn't bad at all. I think we have a legit chance of 50 wins this season.

That is a brutal stretch. I say 6-8. When does the rockets schedule get easy. That is ridiculous.

It's a rough schedule with those back to backs... those will cost us some... I say 7 is a good thing to go for, anything more is much appreciated though. If C-bud gets switched in to lighten the load then I'd imagine it would be more. And if T-mac comes back some he might be able to act as kryptonite to Dallas later this month!

i guess 7-9,quite a couples of tough games against the top teams in the nba like the orlando, cleveland and the Lakers, but then, rockets always surprised me,so i will guess 7-9

6 wins would be good. Any more than that would be really good.

Just went through the last 45 or so games and I'd be surprised if the team doesn't win 2 out of every three games the rest of the season starting with the January 9 game against the Knicks. The schedule just gets really easy the rest of the way.

That would mean closing out the season 30-15 giving us about 50 wins for the year provided we stay at .500 through this stretch. That being said I'd be fine going 6-8 over these next 14.

The Rockets have played great against good teams and tough schedules, I see 8 wins minimum....

Tracy being dealt soon would change this a bit,but.....I'm going with 9-5.

The Rockets have a level of consistency/chemistry right now....We're good but not great like we should be after all is said and done. (next year)

Playing hard every night keeps you in games...Some of those tough games, our Rockets will win.

The only good thing about having a tough schedule to begin the season is that you get an easier schedule towards the end of the year which gives you time to get your team healthy and allows you to build some momentum going into the playoffs. Don't worry guys, the good days are yet to come. ;)
