The Department of Defense is releasing the videotape in response to a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act request and related lawsuit. “This is in response to your December 14, 2004 Freedom of Information Act Request, FOIA appeal of March 27, 2005, and complaint filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia,” wrote William Kammer, Chief of the Department of Defense, Office of Freedom of Information. “Now that the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui is over, we are able to complete your request and provide the video…” ... “We fought hard to obtain this video because we felt that it was very important to complete the public record with respect to the terrorist attacks of September 11,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Finally, we hope that this video will put to rest the conspiracy theories involving American Airlines Flight 77. As always, our prayers remain with all those who suffered as a result of those murderous attacks.”

The images, recorded by a Pentagon security camera, were to be released in response to a Freedom of Information Act request by Judicial Watch, a public interest group. The video had previously been leaked and publicly circulated, but this is the first time the government will have officially released the imagery. The hijacked American Airlines plane slammed into the southwest side of the Pentagon at 9:38 a.m. EDT, shortly after two other hijacked airliners were flown into the twin towers at the World Trade Center in New York. The attack set off fires in a portion of the Pentagon and killed 125 people inside, in addition to those on board the plane. "We fought hard to obtain this video because we felt that it was very important to complete the public record with respect to the terrorist attacks of September 11," said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch.
I guess the government has finally had enough time to doctor up the video to support their claims. Much like the story that Oswald acted alone to kill JFK, I don't buy any of it.
I've never actually seen video of a plane hiting the Pentagon. Why has it taken this long to release the video? The timing is perfect. Finally show something to be true about 9-11 and try and wipe all the other inconsistencies away too. There are way to many problems with the official government 9-11 story for me to believe that there isn't some sort of coverup. I'll admit I have always been skeptical of the U.S. government and the last five years have lead me to believe that the U.S. government is the biggest threat to peace in the world.
9-11 was the Kennedy assassination to the 10th power. Government inconsistency is a gross understatement.
The US government can't even keep their real secret stuff secret. I will grant you that setting up Oswald as a patsy is within the range of possibility but faking the moon landings or 9/11 would just require too many geeky nerdy technicians whould would use their involvement to try and get laid. What real stunt did any government actually ever pull off that was only later revealed to be fake. ( Saddam Hussein's WMD disinformation campaign?)

I have no idea how the Pentagon blew up, but I am convinced personally that it was not achieved without the complicity of our govt. Physical evidence is the worst way to prove these cases because any side can get an expert to prove their point. So the burden of proof rests on the side of the 'conspiracy wacko'. Michael Ruppert wrote the best book on 9-11 to date- Crossing the Rubicon, you should read it. He covers most everything the Kean Commission purposely avoided. If it doesn't change your view of 9-11 I owe you something.
