For those of you who missed it the first time around, CBS is re-running their 9/11 movie (Wed, 9/11) from the documentary cameramen who were the only crew inside the WTC when the collapse occured. This is the most compelling television I have ever witnessed. Set your VCR for this one.

Oh, man, that is surely going to be bringing back memories...

The first time I saw it, it was unbelievable. But I think it is a bad idea to show it on 9/11. If I had someone at the Towers, I think it would kill me to watch it...

Guys...I saw it the first time around and it is very graphic. If you are the type of person who is sqeamish, I suggest you not watch it. You can literally hear the people who jumped hitting the ground..very disturbing.

I'm sure it will be on video soon enough. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Having it on video will be useful in teaching our children and grandchildren the realities of the world we live in today so that history has a chance to not repeat itself.

Actually it came out on DVD yesterday. I just got my copy and am watching it. Very disturbing (to say the very least) to watch and includes other interviews not put into the final documentary.

I read it has several minutes of extra footage that probably could not be shown on broadcast TV.

This has to be the saddest part of the movie. The look in the firefighters faces...

Where did you get it? I would like to have it.

I was talking to my wife about explaining to our 2yr old son when he gets older exactly what happen on 9-11. I don't think he or any other children from now on will really understand it. It is kind of like everyone now trying to feel the impact of Pearl Harbor. It is just not the same unless you were there in that time enbracing all of the emotions. I never want my son to experience what we went through one year ago today.
