    I just read that Minnesota
    is 45-30 and 8th seed.

So in other words, it is very possible
for two or three teams to play .600
and one or two of them not go to the playoffs.

It would not be that far-fetched for
two teams to win 50 games and one not go.

As far as I'm concerned, this is how
it always was: the East always sucked
except for one team that had an easy
road to the finals. We just did not
see it till the inter-Conference play.

    This puts Hakeem's accomplishments in
    a new light.

Well, the Kings, Wolves, Lakers and Mavs were not what they are now, when Hakeem got his rings. The east was much more talented. I think the league was more balanced around the title years. That proves that the Rockets had to face 26 other tough teams instead of the 14 in the west they do now.

Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. If you disagree, you are not a Rocket fan.
