Rick Adelman is a bonafied genius. And the perfect coach for the team we have right now. 8 players in double figures - how long since that happened? In ANY game?
Agreed, major major kudos to Adelman, and Morey as well. Slowly, one game after another their approach is being vindicated. I love how our go-to guy is ... no one! How can people plan their defensive strategies against us when it is basically "the BURN in your lungs when you run?? that's the plan ..."
nothing but respect for this team. we were playing with alotta heart. ...always nice to see how sloan was yelling at ref and then RESTED in desperation. way to go, rox
exactly. there are some here, tho, who'd rather have the plodding, methodical 'thing' we called an offense last year. believe it.
The huge difference of game is the way we shot the 3s, amazingly good. 4 games into the season, Morey looks more and more wise. and Adelman proved his seasoned record as NBA coach.
Anyone know what the record is for players in double figures? Searching online but can't find anything.
I'm actually going to cry tears of JOY. That was freaking amazing. At the JAZZ too. Who stomps them like that at home with no stars? We do.
we're like the railroads in monpoly. RR's kill....you'll pay 200. a group effort. break you down slowly but surely NICE ROLLIN!!
The coaches are great. The player-coach (Battier) is great. We have lunch pail players that are also skilled and play to win the game (no stylin' and profilin' [Stromile, Francis, etc]) and it will be great theater to see how many we can win in a row. Teams can't focus on any one thing that we do since we are so flexible.
RA not only is getting the team to believe in his system but he is also not letting the D get away from what the team will eventually become. It is like the Suns offense but with Defense still a focal point.
1-7, boy.... i thought it was 1-4 somthing, but somehow kinda enough to backup the shortest starting C in the league in this game
All nine rotation players had at least one assist. Houston had 11 more assists than Utah overall. Very, very impressive.
Didn't they have 6 or 7 players in double digits for stretches in games last year and the year before? I don't think it's anything new under Adelman.
