I dont know if there has been an official update, but this is the latest as of Tues. afternoon.
Not very good considering last week they were expecting him to be back this game. No pun intended :(

Backs are the trickiest injury to deal with - timeables are next to worthless. I'm just thankful he's not having surgery like Peja.

well that is good news, i guess.
no reason to bring him back against the blazers, especially if randolph is out as well.

I thought he was ruled out for this game. We don't need him. They won't have Randolph or Roy. Let Bonzi have his homecoming. Save TMac for Friday.

This actually sounds good to me. Doubtful reads 'There's a chance, so he's pretty close to coming back' for me. The sooner the better, but I'm in no rush if it means keeping Tmac in shape for the rest of the season. With such a loaded Western Conference, I don't see much advantage/disadvantage for the seeding except for home court advantage. Every team 1-8 is going to have a good chance. We just need to make sure we're one of those 8 teams.

He also told the american people, that his back would no longer be an issue; and to stop asking questions about his back( in summer of 06).Then he went out to hit a line-drive double through center field :rolleyes:You just never know with back injuries.

I don't think this is a good idea. If he can not use tomorrow's game as a warm-up, then just forget about the Spurs game and let him have a bit more rest.

Too true. Just pound the ball into Bonzi - you know he'll be in another gear.

    I say rest him...

my only concern is... his back... if he goes down 3 or 4 times like this... for the year and maybe the playoffs... id be seriously concerned...

as far as we should be concerned... tmac is a commodity...brought in to make this team better... which he dosent when he is out

players asked to be traded all the time...so why can't the Rocket organization trade him...

I doubt we could get anything back...with the value of a healthy Tmac...
but thats just the thing he is not healthy...

and unfortunately we can expect another extended game absence... the next time this happens... if the going trend stays true....

and that sucks for Tmac, Rox and us fans.... :(

Rest him. Against the Spurs as well.

We should win against the Blazers. If we don't it's not because we didn't have the players to do it.

As for the Spurs game, it is probably the most difficult game of the entire season. The best team in the league, they're at home, we're tired, and they're playing great. I'll take the loss and hope it pays dividends later with T-Mac.

i thought he was out this game so doubtful is somewhat of an "upgrade" to me. i don't think he plays and instead comes back in san antonio.

just let him play 10-15 mins just to get loose so he'll be ready to drop 40 points on the spurs

I don't like the fact that T-Mac has been out this long. I thought it was no big deal according to T-mac but I have a feeling he will be out for more than just this week. If that is the case it does not look good for the Rockets. I just hope it is not the case and T-Mac can at least be back by Saturday.

We gotta take it to the Spurs in their faces at their gym. Even we lose, we send them message that we are ready to fight.

Hopefully he will be upgraded to 'questionable' for the Spurs...personally I want him held out until he is at the level he was on opening day.

We need that 85% healthy TMAC to be our playmaker. Yao and Bonzi can get the tough points in the paint.

I know we have played a lot of games in the last couple of weeks but the Spurs game will be our second game this week. So its our second game in five days and Yao should be rested. I hope TMac can play cuz I want to win in their arena so bad.

If he's ready let him come back for like 10 minutes. No harm there.
