The Dawson regime would so find a way to get Brand here ASAP.

The NBA only uses one basketball. McGrady, A.I., and Lou Williams are all players that dominate the ball.

Morey is holding out for a big fish....marquee or very close player.

Brand isn't that at this point is his career.

If McGrady ends up in Philly, it won't be because of Morey.

If this were the Elton Brand of 4-5 years ago I would be all over this. Unfortunately, that's not the case plus Brand is one of the biggest losers in the NBA. And that's placing aside his hideous contract.

Needless to say, I highly doubt he'll end up in Houston.

I love Elton's character, and he can be a damn good ball player too.

Throw in Iggy and we got a deal!!!

Assuming that they wouldn't part with Iguodala, then the ONLY way I'd ever be happy with a McGrady - Brand swap is if they threw in some young talent to offset the lengthy (ugly) contract.

So throw in some young talent like, um, like, err, umm.....

ok - so Loius Williams is the only other thing worthwhile on their roster, and i CANNOT see them moving him either!

To trade Elton Brand, the Sixers will have to do one or both of the following:

1 Accept a totally pathetic player in return who's contract is shorter. This does not include players who's contracts expire after THIS season like McGrady.

2 Including one of the cheap, good, younger players in the trade like Thadeus Young. Sort of like getting a dog to swallow a pill he doesn't want by wrapping a piece of tasty, raw bacon around it.
