What could you do? Comcast is a monopoly corporation, so they probably don't care if you drop them as provider. Nor can you sue them since they have room full of ivy league lawyers who sold their soul to the devils. Do what CAN you do? Seems like doing some outrageous and get the media attention is the best way to me, and that's exactly what she did.

i'm sure you understand the avg person's frustration with large company customer service. seinfeld has an episode where karmer jerks with the cable guy by not being there when he's supposed to.

    and she's seventy five.

i understand your point, but don't tell me you can't understand why people think its more funny than harmful.

Someone going into an office and destroying property that is not their's with a hammer is outrageous behavior and quite different than screwing with someone like in a Seinfeld episode.

I've been frustrated many times by many people and/or things. One time I let loose with a profanity and was arrested. However, I've never physically destroyed anything that didn't belong to me because I was upset about something. She's sending a message to her Grandkids (well, hopefully she doesn't have any) that an acceptable way to act during a dispute is to destroy the other person's property.

How many of you laughing at this lady would laugh at your kids if they were treated unfairly by a friend or family member and their response was to simply destroy their stuff?

I hope they throw the book at this lady. It is absolutely inexcusable.

I remember when I first moved to Dallas. Whatever the cable company was up there at that time a) made me and my family wait around for eight hours for the installation and b) flat-out lied to me about whether or not I could get the NBA package at my location.

Guess what I did? I switched to Dish. I was somehow able to not go to their offices and destroy their property. Not sure how I resisted that urge.

She's old, give her a break. All she wanted to do was watch some Matlock.

At what age can we start acting like complete maniacs?

This board freaked out when a 15 year-old vented about his mom leaving him somewhere, yet this lady is being celebrated? WTF?

look, i don't think you have to worry about an onslaught of blue hairs attacking customer service people. its a one time incident. she got arrested, its not like people are saying she shouldn't have been punished.
