    2 Weeks? Did they say why it would be that long? It would seem that that would be limiting Rashard's options, if he seriously wanted to sign for the MCE. It also doesn't make sense considering Rashard is already in Houston...

    Unless Rashard has already agreed in principle to join the team for the MCE, but we want to wait til Yao Ming's in town (August somethingth?), when we can sign Steve, Yao, and Rashard on the same day.

    As long as I'm dreaming, I might as well have J-Lo sitting on my lap.

    The comment was just a blurb on a Sports Flash.No other comments were made besides the things we already new. Like Rashard was meeting with Mavs....ect.

    Somebody posted somewhere an unsubstantiated but believable rumor that Moochie and Kenny have been taken out of the PR rotation for the time being. Sounds impending.

    Isn't Moochie a base year player, making him more difficult to trade? Especially when we would be trading for a base-year player in Rashard?

    If Houston could get Rashard only through a sign and trade, then maybe the deal couldn't be done until the sixty days is up from the Baker trade, so that Anderson or Potapenko could be involved. If this is the case, there is no rush to meet Rashard. Plus, Rashard's agent might want Seattle to stew awhile to either drive up the price to re-sign, or force their hand for a sign and trade. Training camp does not open until October, so this could drag out for awhile.

    Hmmm. I don't know about that but why don't we start floating that rumor around just to see if one of the major sports sites makes it a story!:p
