I was just talking to a co-worker who is a KC fan. He just told me this is huge and a pick-up that will help big-time. Good.
VERY nice. If Spencer comes back and Winston continues to develop, the OL might be pretty decent next year.
exactly man I hope Spencer comes back healthy; I hear Spencer is really keeping in shape, losing a considerable amount of weight and such
Kansas City fans I'm talking to now say he struggled at left tackle but really excelled at guard. So this signing might really pay off if Spencer can come back healthy and allow Pitts and Black to play inside. Of course, post-concussion Trent Green was slow enough that he made Drew Bledsoe look like Vince Young. So I take everything with a grain of salt.
Who? Here's a direct comment from the Chiefs board, "Ouch, I hate to say it but the worst offensive line in football just got a little bit worse." Here's another quote from their board, "no offense, but this is the best thing I have seen you write.......lol.... your right. I'm glad we passed on him. To many bad I-65 memories, i cant go through another year." http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?S=115#S=115&F=1837&T=214993 From I've been reading. He's not guarenteed a starting spot, he'll have to compete to get one. That's per houstontexans.com.
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=159499 Ouch. I haven't seen this guy play so I don't know if he is any good or not, but atleast he is an o-lineman.
It seems that he can play 4 different positions on the OL. Hopefully Spencer will make a full come back because I would love to have him at LT and Black at RT, we'll also have more time to develop Winston rather than having to throw him right in the fire.
