apparently there are supposed 2 b 6 guys in the dunk contest. along with francis wallace jrich and mase there r supposed 2 b 2 surprise contenders. i dunno if these guys r gonna b carter and tmac or some high jumpin scrubs like courtney alexander. im interested 2 c tho

Yea, I think that sounds believable. CARTER AND/OR BRYANT, PLEASE! BTW, that's a damn good idea from the league.
If this is true, this is more stupidity by the NBA. Who knows how many fans won't tune in this year because Carter or Bryant (for example) aren't in it. Then they come in at the last second -- that's not going to increase viewership any, but it will piss off lots of people who missed it because they were told there were only 4 contestants that they weren't interested in. I guess this is classic NBA-quality decision-making though,
Maybe they never officially said there will be 4 contenders and kept saying stuff like "We have NAMED 4 participants to the dunk contest"..... Good idea I think. Besides, Dunk Contest is not first (right?) so it will probably be anounced early in the day.
maybe i'm wishing, but maybe they've brought back dominique and someone else (can't think of another big dunker who's retired recently)
It actually may be a good idea because then people will definitly tune in next year and the years to come.
