Barry Bonds is on the cusp of joining yet another club with himself as the only member. Who else do you see eventually matching this feat. It looks to me like A-Rod and Bad Vlad aren't stealing bases like they used to, so Soriano probably has the best chance.
You're correct Soriano is the only player who has a chance to do it. Vlad is not a good basestealer...he gets caught WAAAY too often. I remember awhile back a Yankee scout was talking about Soriano when he was in the minors and said he has the potential to be the 1st ever 50/50 player. He may turn out to be right as Soriano continues to develop.
I cant think of anybody other than Soriano that has even a small chance. I was thinking maybe Andruw Jones but hes not stealing bases anymore either.
