Interesting list, though some are not factual... he was just kidding when he said he would install a court at the WH. Alll in all, I wouldn't having a beer with this guy. I bolded the ones I think are interesting...
I remember CNN being pretty fair throughout the election.I know if he watched fox news he wouldn't have been, so cool calm and collected on the campaign trail..I wonder did McCain watch any TV doing the election?
I didn't know either. I find that suprising. I also did not know he did cocaine. I never cared to go much past what his policies and voting record were. Not really that important I guess.
I found that name very interesting considering his name. I would definitely never tie that nickname to basketball.
You've never heard an announcer say "He dropped the bomb on them" after a nasty dunk? Or "he's bombing from the outside" after a few long-range jumpers go in? Not to mention it sounds like his real name.
I know the basketball correlation, but given his name. He went to high school before I was born. The name would be tied to calling him a terrorist in my generation. That is all I was getting at. I doubt they would call him that today.
You're grasping. Nobody thought of anarchists when the Bronx Bombers were winning World Series in the 1930's and nobody thinks of 9-11 when the term is used now. Nobody thought of actually killing people when Murderer's Row was playing. Nobody thought of cannibalism when the Purple People Eaters were playing. Nobody thought of anaphylactic shock when the Killer Bs took the field. Nobody thought Jack "The Assassin" Tatum actually killed people for money. Same for Thomas "Hit Man" Hearns. Chuck "The Rifleman" Person is not really a crack shot with a rifle. Nobody thought Fred "The Crime Dog" McGriff was a canine cop. Obama's high school nickname is the equivalent of Glide or Dream, though not nearly as clever or as fitting, but hey, what do you expect from high school kids?
When I first read it I thought it said he left with the stripper, I was kind of let down when I realized what it really said.
