Just saw this on CNBC. New book he collaborated with some other guy on.
He's very well spoken and seems decently knowledgeable. Given the history of rappers/rock stars/athletes who come into wealth, I'm pretty impressed.

PS - not sure why imbedding it puts that text at the top

Yeah. According to that clip he netted $100 mil after taxes. He lives in Mike Tyson's old house, so he says that's a constant reminder to leave within his means. Tyson made over $500 mil throughout his career.

I pretty much live on CNBC during daylight hours and loved this segment when I watched it. The funnier one is when he shows up with Jim Cramer. That was hilarious.

I've actually been very impressed with him the last few times I've seen him in interviews. He seems to have turned the corner from rapper to businessman over the past couple years. Apparently he lives his life pretty clean and is a fitness freak.

I cannot stand Curtis Jackson, regardless of his success.

It doesn't hurt when you're at the top of the rap game, promoting the product and know that the lemmings out there will buy practically any crap that comes out. Seems like a sure thing to me. Still, a very good call.

Anything that keeps him from making more "music" is fine with me. It's no coincidence that the guy climbed to the top of the rap game AFTER the more talented rappers stopped making albums or were shot to death.
