In the beginning, I felt I could coach the Rockets.

However, after watching Cat, Steve, Walt, Eddie and the rest of the crew play and shot so horrible I really don't know how to summarize all of our ills.

Corporate America suggest you that you summarize an issue in 3 points. Well my 3 points, why we suck.

    1. No D at ALL - Players fault, it's all about hustle and desire

    2. No offensive strategy - One-on-one, pick in roll, small ball in the 4th Qtr against a larger team - Rudy owns this fiasco

    3. Not enough balls - Steve, Cat, Moochie, Walt, Rice, EG, MoT (when he comes back), and Cato all require shots to play to their full potential. When our shootings off the game is over. LA case in point.

By the way, the NBA rumor has Steve leaving after his contract is up. I would suggest trading for Nick the quick

How do you expect Rudy to coach this team when the majority of the roster is injured and don't have a chance to play together and develop any real chemistry? Our projected starting SF and 3rd option on offense Glen Rice, injured. Our starting PG and franchise player Steve Francis suffering from severe migraines. Our #2 option and starting 2-guard Cuttino Mobley playing at less then 100% the majority of the year. Our projected starting PF and #1 low post option Mo Taylor injured before PRE-SEASON! Our new rookie sensation was expected to be eased into the line-up but instead he was thrown to the wolves because of injuries, now he is hitting the rookie wall. Our original starting line-up was Francis, Mobley, Rice, Cato, Mo, now it's essentially Francis, Mobley, Cato, Griffin and whoever they decide to run at SF, whether it's the inconsistent Walt Williams, or a rookie in Torres. This team hasn't had time to play together.

I hope Steve doesn't leave, but I would NOT be surprised if he does. To prevent a all-out flame war with certain posters, I will keep my own personal observations under wraps. I'll just wrap it upwith a "don't be surprised."

    NCSTATEFAN,

You're entitled to your opinion no matter what it is, that why there is a BBs on the clutchcity.net site. However, I know why you have reservations because of the flamers.

Personally I think its still too early to tell whether Steve wants to jet to D.C. after his contract is over. There is still alot to be considered by Steve to make his decision. Lets hope he decides to stay and the Rockets steadily improve.
