From near the end of January to mid-March, we have 17 home games and only 5 road games. Look for the record after that string to be misleading -- by mid-March, we may look like we're head for 55 wins. However, from that point to the end of the year we've got 11 on the road and only 5 home, and those home games include Minnesota Sacramento, Denver and Dallas. Looks like we might finish up on a bit of a downslide. If we continue to win at the same percentages at home and on the road (and barring a major injury, there's no reason why we shouldn't expect at LEAST that), we're headed for a 48-win season.

48 wins in the west in ANY season is very, very tough to do. 46 is realistic, but may be a bit high. Track record would point to the 43/44 range, and that (44) is where I would set the over-under line were I Vegas. This team has given no indication they will take overcome their head coach and take it to another level. They MIGHT, but they could just as easily collapse unto themselves, and end with 40 wins. There is just no good way to tell right now.

I can too. I aint no miss clea neither but I'll go ahead and say it - the Rockets are about to kick it in high gear. I think the guys are really about get what jeff van gundy and the coaching staff is trying to make them get. I think we're about to see something special here with this team. I expect their offense to improve and their defense to be the best in the league throughout the season and its just going to be one great happy affair around here the rest of the year.
