I think one of the guy's on the escalator was actually blind. He had a walking stick with him and was being led by another guy.
Where are his parents? Nice catch btw....might have been his dad.....he is sort of watching him while on the phone earlier. DD
What a dumbass kid...You can definitely think somewhat rationally when you are 4. He'll probably die when he's 16 by trying to take a 90 degree turn with a jeep going 60 mph in rainy conditions.
“An escalator can never break: it can only become stairs. You would never see an Escalator Temporarily Out Of Order sign, just Escalator Temporarily Stairs. Sorry for the convenience.” - Mitch Hedberg Yeah, it had nothing to do with this. The thread title just reminded me of this joke.
it took place in Istanbul...the hero was a store owner. Wonder if the kid said thanks (Groundhog Day).
Younger brother tumble down (not off) escalator at San Jacinto Foley's back in the day, all I remember were the small, groove-shaped cuts in his stomach.
I was in the Frankfurt airport when I was 10 years old. My shoes were untied and the laces got stuck in the escalator. My foot was trapped! I was also holding two hot chocolate drinks. One for my mom and the other for my brother. I don't drink hot chocolate myself. The drinks started spilling. Anyways, my aunt finally got my shoes laces freed from the gripping grasp of the escalator. But to this day, I make sure my laces are tied every time I go on an escalator. It is indeed a hidden danger in modern day society.
what a moral predicament for the dude leading the blind guy. leave a blind man hanging on an escalator, or let a 4 year old hang off an escalator?
That actually looks kinda fun, as a kid. Good thing man catching the kid was a bigger fellow. If it was some scrawny little guy like me... would have been a whole different story told. What's surprising is that no one but that one guy really cared.
