Abdullah al-Nafisi is basically a Kuwaiti John Hagee. If I pulled quotes from Hagee advocating holy war against all muslims, or saying that god destroyed New Orleans to "kill all the f--s", it would be disturbing, but at the same time, I would hope we could all realise that it doesn't represent a mainstream view in the USA.
You say "if" regarding John Hagee while here is video evidence of this guy saying just that kind of thing against Jews and Americans... no ifs, ands or buts. This guy boasts that 9/11 will be viewed as a "warmup" when 4 pounds of Anthrax kills 330,000 within the hour. I'd say you owe John Hagee an apology. I don't hear him recommend killing those who don't take the Bible at it's word... as this guy touts the Koran. \thread

Did you look at the video? The guys says that "befriending" Jews defies the Koran which makes you an infidel which makes you deserving of a death. At his worst, Hagee is only guilty of interpreting Katrina as a "deserved" act of God that befell a certain group of people. Feel free to disagree with him and he won't order your death. Of course, since Katrina victimized all kinds of people so that is a load of crap but let's quit with all this derailing to try and equate the two.
Spend 10 minutes in research. In his book "Jerusalem Countdown", he advocates launching a surprise nuclear attack on Iran to hasten the annihilation of all Jews as a precursor to the end of days. Hagee has also said that Islam and Christianity at perminantly at war and there is no reason to dialogue with Muslims. Rather, we should kill them before they kill us.
After 15 minutes of reading, it would seem that the pre-emptive strike on Iran that he calls for is meant to protect Israel not hasten her destruction. Hagee has founded ministries meant to strengthen Israel. I haven't read his book but in searching I cannot find the conclusion that you have touted. Can you post a link for me?
