Would be funny if Spurs tanked against Utah so Dallas doesn't make the playoffs.

D.Rose needs to play like D.Rose or get the F out of the way.

The Chicago Roses are fouling themselves and getting FTs from it. Sad.

    Nice start for #teamanthony.

And nice mini-run by Chicago to close out the Q.

That Asik 19 blocks in one game stat isn't accurate.

Knicks look good in this game...

still doesn't convince me that they're better than the Rockets though.

The west is so much better than the east after the top two seeds.

usually that would be true statement but this year the standings would prove that to be untrue.

If the rockets where in the east they would not have a good enough record to be the six seed like there are in the west currently.

I almost did not believe it when I looked at the standings. The Pacers and Sixers actually being worth a damn this year has made the east stronger in the middle then it normally is.

Um, the east IS WAYYYYY easier than the west.

The Rockets are in the top 10 in RPI.

The Rockets have the 5th toughest schedule in all of basketball. The Knicks? 28th.

    http://espn.go.com/nba/stats/rpi

    It isn't even a debate.

The Rockets are a better team than the Knicks, healthy or not.

I am referring strictly to playoff seating. In the past the rockets would always have better seating if they where in the east this year there seating would be worse if they where in the east.

That is all I am talking about.

That's a bad way to look at it. Eastern records are inflated because they get to play easier schedules than Western Conference teams.

Yeah, that doesn't mean anything though. The west from 2 seeds down is still better. The only reason the east has better records is because they play in a weaker conference. That was always the case though... it's just now these bottom east playoff teams are beating teams they're supposed to beat. The west overall is still better. There's no question about that. Give the Rockets the Knicks schedule, we'd probably 10-12 games over .500.

Even with that factored, we still had much better record then the most playoff teams in the east.

This year the top 8 east teams are much better then they have been in the past. They are not better the the top 8 in the west but the Margin between the 2 conferences in the top 8 is getting alot smaller.

this looks just like the Knicks epic collapse against the Pacers week ago, except that 30 pt turnaround happened all in the 4th.
