Mariotti - Picked the Rockets to sweep the Mavericks saying that they have not had an answer for any player on the Rockets, the bench or the coaching of JVG.

Paige - Says Dallas is better and will win this game. Saying Avery Johnson has a ring and knows he will know what to do. then asked Mariotti how many games has JVG played. Just because he coached in a Finals he doesn't know what he is doing compared to Avery (which i find pretty stupid)

Plaschke - Basically called out all the Fans of houston saying we have the worst home court advantage, Saying people don't even show up to the games until the second quarter and don't care about the team, lost 15 games at home..... Said the Mavericks will stop the pick and roll and cause the Rockets to lose this game bad.

Calishaw (Dallas) - Of course picks Dallas saying Stackhouse will step up and they will still win the series easily and go to the Finals.

I am hoping all the fans in Houston that are going to the game are there damn early to show those fool what's up. Calling out the fans of Houston saying we don't support the team. I know during the regular season we have problem like that...but we have to really show them something in the playoffs.

Around the Horn is a joke...

I can't believe i am stilling watching this show, and the only reason is because ESPN is all i watch in the afternoons. Lately the sports writers on this show have been ridiculously r****ded, and are filled with biased and unsupported thoughts and statements. I have lost all respect for these guys except mabye Marriotti and Adonde. Just today Cowlishaw said that the Rockets are doomed at home, and questioned everyone why the Mavericks should be worried at all, they only lost game 2 by 2 points, while not playing their best game. WTF is he talking about? Not only do they play with as much energy as they are capable of, we played their tempo and thier style of game the whole game and still beat them. Plaschke basically mocked the Houston home court, "calling out our fans" and saying the Dallas should have no problem winning the games away. Page, and this was humerous, said that Avery Johnson will ultimately out coach JVG because AJ has a champoinship ring as a player, and JVG has never played basketball there for he doesnt know what it takes.
All but Marriotti predicted that the mavs will come back. These comments along with some like "Dallas is just way to deep for Houston", are the reasons this show totally disgusts me now..

Houston better show up tonight ... I have a feeling they will just as the city stepped up during the MLB playoffs last year. I'm so sick of hearing how bad the Rockets Home Court advantage is even though it has been well deserved for recent memory.

This is the funniest thing I have read in a while. We are talking about a guy in Stackhouse who can't create his own shot. His jumpshot doesn't put "fear" into an opponent. He's not a finisher.

There is a reason the Pistons traded him after the 2002 playoffs even though Detroit made it further than they did in 11 years.

I hope Stackhouse continues to play a bunch in the series, because the more he plays, the better the Rockets chance to finish the Mavs.

yeah it was funny when i heard it because the other 2 guys said it would be Finley that steps up and the dallas guy actually says it won't even be Finley it will be Stackhouse which i also find stupid.

Cowlishaw works for the Dallas Morning News. What should we expect?

Paige is there for comic relief.

Plaschke still thinks the Lakers are in the playoffs.

And Mariotti has finally got something right.

I am having fun right now. Let them say whatever they want. It doesn't take away our 2-0 lead. I am a little worried about this game though. This game is as important as they come.

    GO ROCKETS!!!!

I'm sorry, are these people insane. Do they have a no-flip-flop clause in their contracts. Anybody that has any kind of certainty that the Mavs will win this series is a blind fool. Can the Mav's still come back? Yeah it's possible. But I sure as heck wouldn't make it sound like some sort of foregone conclusion like these hacks are doing. They are going to look downright r****ded in the morning.

I am going to the game and will represent. The home crowd was loud as hell last season with chants of defense from begining to end and "Kobe Sucks" chants throughout, and hypeness when Boki blocked Karla to the ground and then was undercut by her as well. I know the crowd will be live tonight.

This has to rank as one of the stupidist things I've ever read on this board. How playing, or not playing, in the playoffs and/or the Finals has anything to do with being a good coach is just freakin' ludicrous! Having coached there, sure. As a player having played there, sure. As a coach???

    (insert roll-eyes here)

I just don't think Cowlishaw researches enough.

The Pistons went to Game 5 vs the Raptors in 2002, Stackhouse went 1 for 10 for 5 points, and the Pistons won anyway. Yet he's going to step up?

He's only had one good playoff game in his career. His playoff shooting percentage all time is 35%.

Watch him have a good game now because of this post..

    LOL!

Well, the funny thing is the host (Tony Reali) muted Cowlishaw before the show even started for picking the Mavs to win, and he kept reminding him of his pick during the show:D

Bad thing is Cowlishaw won the contest, and then proceeded to talk about women's golf  (insert yawning here)

Eh, go against us, they're idiots.
Go with us, they're bandwagoners (or flip-floppers).

If they go against us in the beginning, there is no way they can ever get love here (not saying that they necessarily should).

The two playoff games last year were incredibly loud and intense. And that was down 0-2 and 1-2. The TC will be rowdy and crazy tonight, mark my words.

    I'll be there, 114 row L!!!!

Besides Nowitski going crazy, Stackhouse backing down Wesley is Dallas's greatest hope.
