a physics professor at the college of charleston used to (i assume he still does) always say...

if something happens once... you've got yourself an occurrence...

if something happens twice, you've got yourself a coincidence...

but if something happens three times, well then, well then you've got yourselves a trend...

I was hoping that i'd be able to use this stupid line w/ shandon's 20+ point performances, but i guess i'll stick to the rule, and say, alas what we have so far w/ his performance, might be a coincidence...

but the team is definitely on a trend... a win against a good team (yeah the grizzlies, regardless of their record could have won; tell me you wouldn't be excited about shareef, othella and dickerson- in 5 years [IMG] ) besides, look at all of the dnp's:

bullard, you know him as the league's leading 3 point shooter

tony massenburg, this team's enforcer, the berserker, a player who will take a charge w/o concern (well, he's been injured 3 times this year, so i don't know if this is still true, but anyway)

hamilton... i posted after the jazz game (2nd game of the season) that i loved this guy... he's fast for a big man. i get concerned when he shoots 8-10 times a game, but at least he rebounds enough to earn the attempts...

oh yeah, and those guys steve francis and dream (it's heart breaking that each of the guys other than dream would actually contribute in a positive way)

well, three more games and we're 10 and 12. stevie will have dusted off by then, so here's to the spurs game on 12/15; besides, charles owns tim duncan.
