Here are a few tweets today. More notes to come shortly from both Jonathan and JCF. I figure this would make it easier than having a bunch of threads.

That's exciting, it looks like AB has been working hard to prove that he is the rightful starting point for the team and Lowry is not too far behind trying to build on what he established last year for the team.

That's exactly how players start getting better when there is competition and each of them push each other to bring out their full potential. This may be a starless season but I think its still going to be an exciting season. ;)

No fair, I want to see them play. :(

How awesome would it be if the Rockets agreed to do that NBA Real Training Camp thing with NBA TV?

I have a really good feeling about Lowry. I thought he was good last season but with a full training camp and the promise of serious playing time I expect he is going to really surprise some people this year.

lowry's a good intangibles guy but i dont see him improving much more than he already has. isnt it his 3rd year now? this year should give us an idea of how lowry will be the rest of his career. hopefully he's worked on his jumpshot.

I think you got the wrong impression of Lowry. We have to consider he is younger than Brooks and he virtually missed all of his rookie season in Memphis due to a broken wrist or something...its his 4th year but in practice its only his 3rd year due to that missed season and he was only a sophomore when he declared for the draft. He's better than Brooks...at least for the starting lineup, anyways.......

I disagree... Lowry can score, dish, and defend... plus he puts more pressure on opposing defenses... the ONLY thing he can't do is shoot.
