[360] Crackdown: Who's playing?

the game sucks in my opinion. i hate the look of it, feels like a regular xbox game, and the aiming is horrible. ill pass. did u get the halo 3 beta disc?

 

i have it just waiting to acess the beta for halo3!!!!!!!!

 

I've heard either people love it or hate it. I think it looks dumb, dont think i'll be picking it up.

 

i rented it and rightfully so. i dont think its good enough to buy. ive had fun playing it but after using some time to level your guy up and it gets old. w/o the customization (sp?) that saints row has, it loses gas after after a couple hours of game play. but believe me when i say its a sight to see when you get blasted off the top of huge tower and see your body float to the ground...(im in the point in the game where nearly every enemy has a homing-gernade launcher

i havnt tried co-op either but would be interested to see how it plays and exactly how entertaining.

 

I disagree completely. I think it is very good; a mix of superhero action games like Spiderman and The Hulk with GTA. There is a whole lot of freedom in what you can do, with the open city, vehicles, mix of your abilities and a good physics engine.

Part of that may be that I've done a lot of co-op. It is awesome to play in a free roaming city with a friend who could be anywhere at any time. And then you meet up to take out gang leaders...very well done.

I do agree that it is light on story/mission structure and if you're not playing any co-op, you may play through much of it quickly (depending on how much time you put in), but it is a solid, solid game.

If I'm not mistaken, you play the beta through an option in the Crackdown menu. So you'll need the disc anytime you want to play the Halo 3 beta.

 

hey who plays with the Xbox wireless adapter?
Im wired now, but to save clutter, I'm looking at wireless. is it worth it?

I bought and played this game for the first time yesterday, on sale for 20 bucks used at gamestop!

I'm freaking loving it! I spent hours just jumping from rooftop to rooftop collecting agility orbs.

It REALLY reminds me of City of Heroes.

 

You know, I never played this one. For $20 I may give it a shot though. Figure it is worth at least that much...

 

look for it on amazon.. it might be cheaper.. i was also going to order a copy of Just Cause.. it was like 9 bucks on Amazon. No real reason I want it, just cause.

Never really heard of Just Cause. But I only got a 360 in June.
