    You could make the case that he's painting with too broad a brush, but the more I hear from Conservatives I know about the outcome of this election, the more accurate it sounds.

    Yes the party ignoring reality became real eye opener for people on the outside who watched them unravel with all their "unskewed" polling, and denying of the math that was right in front of them.

    It's long applied to actual issues as the article points out as well.

    Republicans won't compromise, and that cost them voters. It's that simple.
