Whats your regular season prediction for next year? (POLL)

What will our regular season record be next year?

  1. Top 3 in the west - prob behind SAS and OKC

  2. 50+ win season and a playoff team

  3. around a .500 team who sneaks into the play-in

  4. Below .500 and misses the post season altogether

    With all the doom and gloom permeating the board, I wanted to see if thats the overall sentiment - or simply some of the most vocal members... lol

    Just looking for your regular season prediction... obviously health and what other teams do is a factor... figure it all in and make your prediction.

    I'm hoping for 1 more move/trade... but just saying if nothing else significant happens...

    and yes, I know some want to go into our post season chances (or lack thereof)... but I aint asking that... I'm just talking regular season.

    I voted for 50+ and a playoff participant. Does that take me off the “doomer” list? I still think we are doomed for a boring season and a first round loss. Does that put me back on the list?

    We're still gonna be a very good regular season team. That's not the issue anymore. The standards have to keep changing as the team continues to grow. For a while the goal was to lose as many games as possible. No one was "dooming and glooming" when we did that. Then it was to just make the playoffs. We exceeded expectations and got the 2nd seed. Everyone celebrated. Then the goal was to go deeper in the playoffs. For the first time since the rebuild we failed the season goal. That's why people are pissed. And when you miss the goal, steps have to be taken to remedy the failure. And I don't see us doing anything to fix the shortcomings.

    i dont think it puts u on the list... if u are acknowledging that we are a 50+ win playoff team, then u and i are in the same boat...

    I may have a bit more optimism about the 'anything can happen' view of the playoffs... who saw that Knicks run coming? We won it all from #6 before... put a gun to my head and I'd predict a 2nd rd exit... but anything can happen... and I hope to enjoy the ride - regardless of its ultimate conclusion! :)

    I think our biggest flaw was not having a fkn pg... expecting KD or Amen to be our primary ballhandler was absurd...

    Idk what Freds situation is... certainly hearing conflicting views... but even if FVV is fried, I think Smart and Thornton should eliminate or limit the KD turnover machine... and maybe Reed takes a step toward becoming a true pg...

    Plus tbh... trading FVVs expiring for a pg is that last major move I hope we make... although I'm open to possibly moving Alpi for a better rim protector...

    It'll depend on WAY too many factors to say for sure, but Ime's shtick thus far has been a team that maximizes meaningless regular season games only to be a complete joke in the playoffs. I could see that happening again though maybe we get enough development from the young guys to overcome Ime's sabotage...or maybe Ime finally figures out some of the basics about how to coach an NBA team....

    It wasn't really an option in the poll, but I think they'll win 47-49 games, and finish anywhere from 6-8 in the standings.

    I don't think this roster is any better than last year. Fred could be washed, we replaced Okogie with Smart, Steven cannot be relied on to stay healthy, Tari turned into a scrub after the All-Star Break, and KD will be 38.

    Meanwhile the West got much deeper and tanking will be far less advantageous.

    my prediction right now is 48-52 wins and another 1st round exit

    the team always hustles and plays hard, and they beat teams up on the offensive glass…those 3 things alone will get you many a win in the regular season when other teams are on a B2B, 3 in 4, or just generally going half ass

    but right now, I don’t think we’d beat OKC, SA, Denver, Wolves, Lakers, or healthy Warriors in a playoff series…if the Blazers have some improvement, I’m not sure about beating them either
