Tate is Ime Udoka minus 20 years. Cutting a guy like Tate is like cutting himself. Ime has a role-player mentality so we're stuck with a team full of role-players.
That’s likely all they will be able to offer other than vet minimums. Not signing Tari would free up a little more, but they could probably get better value through a sign-and-trade. Our free agency appears to involve scouring the bargain bin once all the dust settles. Trades are the only way to make significant improvements.
