Unless they are like Jrue Holiday, in the first seconds also included 6'2 and under.

Fred VanVleet is one of those bulldogs. He’s scrappy and one of the better defensive point guards in the NBA.

The jury is out as to whether Reed Sheppard will develop into one in the NBA.

I think he clearly is a bulldog, Lowry type. Reddit was debating this though.

Fred definitely falls into the bulldog category. No doubt

Reed yes but FVV is a good and stout defensive PG so not sure this applies to him.

Kevin Durant is a really bright guy - Nash is as well.... but KD always has a unique way of looking at things.

People don't like to hear it, FVV is getting up there in age and there is no speed in his game.

With Reed, he has to show an elite skill as an undersized combo guard.

There's a reason KD causes problems everywhere he goes.

It's also probably a reason why he likes Ime, he speaks his mind without caring who he offends.

Also, what he says isn't wrong. I think most of us agree that we question if Reed can even start with how small he is. I've always said if Reed was 3 inches taller he'd be on track to be one of the best guards in this league.

What does speed have to do with being a bulldog? A bulldog means a scrappy, hard-nosed player that maximizes every ounce of his athletic ability and doesn’t back down from bigger players. Think Patrick Beverley, Kyle Lowry and Alex Caruso types. VanVleet absolutely falls in this category.

Don’t underestimate Reed. He’s scrappy as hell. He might bite a guy in the knee.

I'm not sure KD seeing or not seeing something is relevant.

Anyone find the dfs diss ? Says players like him shouldn’t have the ball last second jacking up a three etc.

DB was the bulldog, Fred was injured and did not play that way last year......if you meant he was a bulldog to the refs, yes, sir, he was.

He had a few nice Playoff games here and there. Last season was not real good.

You see him getting to the hoop......and you know he has like a 38% FG around the basket more often than not.

And there are more times than not he ain't even getting to the hoop against defensive teams.

Reed Sheppard is really strong, threw a Football Full Court to Cam Whitmore as Fun.

Reed Sheppard is tough against opponents, but needs internal mental confidence in himself, in shooting and playmaking.

Hes saying in that clip though that the best player needs to be demanding the ball taking that shot. Not looking for a DFS type player spot up shot by design. Not really a diss. Its more of a superstar last shot mentality and not relying on a role player in crunch time.
