I am not sure if PHX will keep Jalen because of their abundance in the guard position but I know Jalen is going to prove himself in his new team. He was slowly coming around, averaging 21+5+5 post all star break. Sure, he did not look great in the playoffs, but it didn’t help that he was playing with two of the worst shooters in the league in Sengun and Amen and with an entire GSW defence loading up on him. This was his first playoffs series. Everyone struggles in their first playoffs series. Even KD was shooting 35% in his playoffs series. I would have been fine with losing Amen, Sengun or Jabari. But losing Jalen is tough to swallow. He is by far the highest ceiling player on our team. There is a reason why PHX asked for Jalen specifically, and not Amen and Sengun. I will root for KD now that he’s a rocket but this is a big mistake. It is the Barkley trade in the 90s all over again.
No player on Rockets is untradable. Giannis could be next for the Rockets for Alperen Sengun. Anthony Edwards next Season for Amen Thompson.

Go put on a Jalen Suns jersey if you’re so hurt. If Jalen was so good and talented, then the trade would have gone down weeks ago. PHX would not have 3 shooting guards making about $180 million on their team currently if Jalen was all that. Jalen is the next Lou Williams not the next MJ.

If they put Amen in the trade there would be no pick and only FVV to make the money work. Hell they would have to send us their sh*tty picks. Amen is probably a top ten commodity in the league after barely playing a full season of game as a starter. I didn’t like including Jalen in the trade and think he will have a break out when he gets in a more wide open offense, but it was inevitable wants FVV wasn’t part of the trade. Jalen will probably be traded by their dumbass owner for a win now center and at least one frp or decent player.
