“There is no more homer broadcast in the entire NBA, and for all I know in the world of sports, than the Warriors’ broadcast,” Lowe chuckled. “You don’t have to take what they say with a grain of salt, you have to take what they say with a silo of salt. And of course they’re going to bring it up and accuse the Rockets of nefariousness.”

    [...]

As Exhibit A, Lowe pointed to the infamous Draymond Green. While Green was potentially saved by the refs in Game 4 when he was called simply for a flagrant in a scuffle with Brooks rather than a technical, he has a very long history of toeing the line with physical play.

    Lowe is hardly alone.

For two years running, Awful Announcing readers have placed the NBC Sports Bay Area Warriors broadcast at the bottom of the annual NBA local broadcast rankings. More than one-third of respondents gave Fitzgerald and Azubuike an “F.”

Once the Rockets series ends, the announcers won’t have such an easy target in Brooks. But history says they’ll find something else to rile up Warriors fans and take on a unified enemy.

he’s right…they are the absolute worst

I had the displeasure of listening to their broadcast a few times, and they are a complete joke

I’d rather watch the game on mute or in Japanese dub with english subtitles then listen to their sorry excuse for a broadcast team

    they are horrible

So this article assumes the Warriors will advance?

Golden State were too spoilt with success last decade so now they are worse and Bobby Myers and Klay left.......

Their homers should realize their time is over and it is time to rebuild.

Clinging onto relics is not healthy.

it's some sickening ****. I remember watching the broadcast and Draymond did the most egregious flagrant foul and they said it shouldn't even be a foul at all. FCC needs to take it off the air.

naw man. I think we take for granted how good our home broadcast is. CA and Hollins are fans of the team but they are also broadcasters; They give props where props are due. The GSW broadcast go beyond homerism. these dudes will look at a replay and not believe what they are watching.

During the radio broadcast last night, Ackerman would call some fouls committed by Brooks and Sengun as silly and admitted the refs got it right against them. It was not an alternate reality.

Home broadcasters should do what their audience wants. Warrior fans want to be lied to apparently. Rockets fans want the truth from our home broadcasters.

I wish Craig Ackerman was a bit more of a "homer." He gets too excited when the opponent makes a big play and plays Devil's advocate too much on officiating. Need a little more of that Bill Worrell/ Gene Peterson home cooking in the playoffs.
