Go through ya best player, but questionable. How manybfree throws did they miss tonight , that was the real blow
Draymond absolutely owns Sengun…he’s his father literally the only reason Sengun managed to have a decent game is because Draymond was in foul trouble and had to be off the court…that’s the only reason
Defend is a loose term. Hands, body check, 2 arms to the lower back. He should have fouled out in the 2nd qtr. Can barely touch Butler
But the reason he was in foul trouble is because of sengun. Yall need to stop talking crazy. Dude dropped 31 points today and he's only 22 years old. He's developing his outside shot and if he can start hitting that consistently then he would have a much better chance versus Draymond. Until he develops that he will struggle against the more physical defenders. Not to mention Draymond is one of the best defenders in league history. Who doesn't have a hard time scoring on him.
Sengun was soft against donkey down the stretch when he was in foul trouble. I'm not against Sengun and Jalen being shopped in the off season.
Draymond was stronger and more physical all night. Draymond got his 5th foul early ish in the 3rd. Double bigs came in and we went thru Sengun. HE dominated as he should. As soon as Draymond came back in, he just settled and backed away from attacking, taking a fall away one handed push shot that bricked. Just totally shied away from banging against a player 6inches shorter then him
only 1 of his 5 fouls was on Sengun so u already starting out with a false premise…the others were loose ball fouls, a foul on Amen, and his flagrant on Tari 31 points on 28 shots with 99% of those shots in the paint…he dropped 31 because Draymond was in foul trouble so he got to feast on no-names like Post/Davis or midgets like Payton Jr…any time Draymond is in the game, Sengun is under lock and key
All we can do is hope Sengun learns from it and gets better. It’s his first playoffs of his career and he’s a young guy. Dray is arguably the best big man defender of this generation. Yeah draymond has destroyed him. I hope Sengun learns from it and gets better in the years to come.
Y’all keep saying Sengun is developing an outside shot, but where’s the proof??? this season he shot a career low from three (23%) and from the free throw line (69.2%) in these playoffs he’s shooting 15-25 from the free throw line which is 60% his shot hasn’t improved one bit in 4 seasons
Im ok with keeping Sengun. He just needs better players that knock him down a tier or two as far as offensive priority. He cant be relied on to be your go to scorer. He's not a number one and wasnt expected to be that when he was drafted. Hes supposed to be Robin...or maybe even Alfred. Hes been thrust into that position because Jalen has largely been below average at what he was drafted to do. Now Jalen...he should be moved this offseason. Hes not worth the investment.
Ime called the lowest percentage play possible. Just boneheaded and stubborn of him. Should have used Sengun as a decoy or to get an assist dishing for an open shot on the perimeter.
Same, would’ve killed a Jabari or Fred shot there. I’m happy with a Sengun shot if he can get a switch, but Sengun over Dray is like the worst shot on the floor.
It was definitely 2 of the fouls in the second quarter, both on post ups. One resulted in free throws the other we got the ball back and he scored on Draymond the next play. I'm not saying he played great he started off on offense terribly. But he salvaged a decent game starting at the end of second quarter. Everyone just being unrealistic. We have a team of 21 year olds. They will all get better. Let's see what it looks like 3 years from now. None of these guys are finished products.
Or its the Rockets unintentional best offense, chuck it at the rim and hope for offensive rebound lol. Weak
funny how some of the pro-jalen/anti-sengun cfers here in this thread go a bit over the top on describing some of sengun's struggles... as if he had a trash game.. meanwhile they're silent in the anti-jalen thread.
