If the Phoenix pick is between 9-12 would you trade it and say Cam for Herro? Of course we would either have to make the pick for Miami or acquire a 26 pick in advance of the trade.

The Heat culture was way before Jimmy and it will continue as long as Pat Riley is there. Maybe Spoelstra can keep it going; we'll see.

The problem is their talent. Even though Jimmy started becoming a thorn to them 2-3 years ago, maybe they should have extended him.

Nobody in the older group (Love, Burks, Rozier, Robinson, Anderson, Wiggins) is able to fill Butler's shoes.

Bam and Herro are probably at or close to their ceilings. The highest draft pick in the younger group is Mitchell and he is a bust considering that he was picked Mid Lottery. The rest of the younger group was picked Mid First Round or lower.

It was clear that they were making a downgrade when they sent Butler out for Wiggins, Anderson and the 2025 First.

    Culture
can carry them a fair distance, but they need another good player.

84-38 is a women’s college basketball type of score.

I don't think they should allow sub-500 teams in the playoffs, period. If the east would have, like, 5 teams one year, okay, just give the 1st place team a 1st-round bye. But series like this one are just hurting the L and its popularity.

Adam Silver is going to change this. I believe he will go top 16 for better product. Forget East west.

top 16 regardless of conference would be fire…the imbalance between the 2 conferences is out of hand

Knicks are the 3rd seed, but I don’t think they’d beat any WC playoff team aside from the Grizzlies…and even that would go like 6 games at least
